General Assembly on April 2, 2022

The Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters of Congo (ATIPCO) will hold its General Assembly on April 2, 2022, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. The meeting will take place in the Henry De Decker Room at the Center for Social Action Studies (CEPAS), located at 9, Avenue Père Boka, Kinshasa/Gombe, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Founded on April 12, 2006, ATIPCO celebrates its sixteenth anniversary this year and is seizing this occasion to bring together language professionals, including translators, interpreters, revisers, terminologists, and other key contributors to multilingual communication. Through its members, the association reaffirms its commitment to meeting the linguistic needs of the Congolese nation and its local and international partners by providing top-quality services.

As a member of the International Federation of Translators (FIT), ATIPCO is recognized as a leading provider of multilingual services in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The association offers expertise to private and public institutions in the fields of translation, interpreting, terminology, and language education, both local and foreign, serving needs in the DRC and beyond. Through this General Assembly, ATIPCO aims to unite language professionals from across the country, providing a unique platform for exchanging insights and advancing their skills.
