While the interpreter performs the same translation task orally during a conference, meeting, seminar, and many more. With new information and communication technologies, the interpreter even performs online with videoconferencing tools.
The ordinary customer temptation would be to naturally turn to relatives or employees who speak a foreign language to translate administrative and commercial exchanges.
Nevertheless, ATIPCO informs you that the work of translator/interpreter is a full profession, carried out by professionals in compliance with the rules of the languages involved in the translation process.
Thus, when you call on a professional translator-interpreter, you will be assured that he/she is subject to a strict code of ethics and professional conduct as they are also bound by professional secrecy. This means that everything that passes through their hands will be kept secret. This secrecy applies to all documents and conversations you have with your translator/interpreter.
A sworn translation is carried out by a translator who has taken an oath as an expert before a High Court. Therefore, he/she can certify that a translated document is faithful and accurate to the original text.
